fritolosophy
encompasses the art practice of North American artist Sarah Frydenlund,
who since 2005 has been living and working in the UK. Using charcoal,
mixed media drawing, oil paint, watercolour, pencil, graphite, clay,
plaster, paper and perhaps frosting, she is continuously updating
and amending her technique and methodology in the search and
exploration of concepts in boundaries, identification, repetition and
return, the shapeless retinal burn of visual memory and the energy of a
space.
